As of today — May 30th, 2026 — I'm rebuilding my website. You might run into a few bugs while things are still coming together, but more improvements are on the way soon. A lot of it has been vibe coded (apart from the windows resizing/dragging functionality), so I hope to iron out the kinks and put an architecture in place to showcase my engineering skills. :)

Why Windows 95

When I was around six, my dad brought home a donated computer running Windows 95. Back when the UI was simple and life online moved at dial-up speed. I still remember those Star Trek–like modem sounds as we waited to connect, all so I could play on Neopets. Ahh, great memories.

Floating Windows

The desktop windows here aren't from a third-party library, I built them from scratch by hand. Each window supports dragging and resizing with a small set of hooks, paired with Floating UI to handle positioning and to keep everything within the viewport when the window resizes.

Blog

I might write my blog posts in the notepad app for now, but use Markdown formatting just in case I want to show code examples or images in the future. I know that some readers might not know the syntax, so I'll be working on adding a markdown editor in the future. Yes, these blog posts are built to be deep-linkable and SEO-friendly too!
